Nantahala Outdoor Center The Nantahala River is the perfect intro to whitewater! Bring the kids and grandparents, and choose from guide-assisted or rentals. Or combine a fully guided raft trip with a scenic train ride. Raft and ride packages can be reserved in our office.

The Flat Rock Playhouse - Located in Hendersonville, there are many excellent productions throughout the summer.

The Joyce Kilmer Forest & Cades Cove - This makes for a wonderful day trip.

Deals Gap & The Tail Of The Dragon Ride The Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap, with 318 curves in 11 miles, is America ’s number one motorcycle and sports car road. The nearby Cherohala Skyway is quickly becoming number two with its remote 60 miles of scenic mountain highway.

Chimney Rock Park  & Brevard Music Center - should be on your agenda for summer activities.

Oconaluftee Visitors Center - on Hwy. 441 at the entrance of the Smoky Mountain National Park offers a museum and gift shop as well as a working farm.

Grandfather Mountain - with its’ mile high suspension bridge, this area offers scenic vistas and hiking trails.

Santa’s Land - A play area and amusement park for young and old, located near Cherokee.
